Restaurante Tony's Mar

Probably by far the best restaurant we ate during our trip to San Pedro Sula. They have menu in English! When we visited, the restaurant was not very busy, we had opportunity to speak to the chef (and owner). Carla speaks fluent English. The dishes are big portion, even with the side dishes. One person in our party is Vegan. Carla custom made Vegan soup for her, and to everyone in the party. The Vegan soup is flavorful, the seafood tastes fresh and good quality. Carla is also very friendly. We had good conversation and she recommended a few tourist destinations.

We tried three different things in the menu and they were all delicious. The service was wonderful. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I would only suggest they consider adding a refill option for the drinks.

Calm environment, good sea food, cooperative staff

This restaurant has amazing food although the way the take advantage of the tourist makes this restaurant bad. What I mean by this is that the restaurant purposely adds extra fees to those who are tourists. I have visited this restaurant two times before this visit, and I have not been charged these many fees as I was charged today I expect that it was because my family was speaking English. On my two other previous visits, I was not charged so many fees but this time because we spoke English and got charged EXTRA. Yes I am aware of taxes but these other fees were not EVER applied to our bill until this visit where we decided to speak English. I will never visit this restaurant again on any of my trips to Honduras. Thank you.

This restaurant takes advantage of tourists. In this restaurant you have be careful in speaking another language because I spoke English while I was out to dinner with my family and they added so much extra fees. I am aware of taxes but these weren't related to taxes whatsoever. Won't return to this restaurant again because of the way they took advantage of me just because I'm a tourist. This restaurant was a DISAPPOINTMENT. Thank you.
