Honestly this is the most overrated food I’ve had in Honduras… to save the food is terrible here is not an exaggeration. The drinks are not bad and the service is good. Ambience and atmosphere are fine. The food is just a really weird mix of whatever local ingredients they can scavenge together to try and make something similar to Peruvian food with poor execution and unappetizing finality. Nothing we tried was good save for the bread…
It’s a very nice place, I think we had too much of an expectation for it. I ordered ceviche and it was good but not the best I’ve had. the empanadas were delicious and the sangrias and margaritas were delicious too. They have very good service but it seemed like they were rushing us since the beginning! A bit on the expensive side. The octopus was very well made but is tastes a lot like olives and we didn’t read that well; but the octopus on itself was delicious! Very well made.
Lima51 in San Pedro Sula continues to impress with its Peruvian flavors, and the Arroz Con Mariscos is no exception. The seafood is fresh, the seasoning is well-balanced, and the rice absorbs all the rich, savory goodness—definitely a dish worth savoring. However, there’s some uncertainty regarding the Macallan 12 Years whiskey served here. The flavor profile doesn’t quite align with the depth and richness typically expected from this renowned single malt. If it is indeed Macallan, something might be off in its storage or serving. A closer look at its authenticity could be warranted.
Nice spot to stop in for a great tasting lunch. Lomo Saltado sandwich looks big in their online menu, but it's just the right size for a lunch. Jalea de Camarón was freshly made and crunchy. The sauce poured over the top was a creamy and savory delite. Paired well with the avocado, red onion, and yuca. To drink, the chicha morada is a great non alcoholic drink. The bite of the star anise on the finish made for an interesting beverage if you're up for something new.
I use to take my dinners here went I stay at SPS for work. Everything I have tasted is above expectations but Tacos de Ozobuco are out of this world. Amazing Food and the interior design is top.
